Carter is a young man working in a factory, living a hard life. His father, Dad, is a traditional bamboo weaving craftsman who upholds the family's craft and family motto. However, an accident changes their fate. Dad falls and injures his lumbar spine, facing a huge surgery fee. Meanwhile, the family shrine and bamboo grove in his hometown are being forcibly demolished by the developer Victor Sterling. Victor is hypocritical and cunning; he even uses Dad's craft to fake live-streaming content and oppress the villagers. To save his father and protect the family’s dignity, Carter is determined to fight Victor to the end.
